Spring St., Los Angeles 90013, and simultaneously at five other nearby venues. The stages are even closer together this month, all within about half a block. New venue to check out this month is The Chicken Room, next door to the Wyatt Earp Card Room in the Alexandria Building.

They've appeared live at the Comedy Central Stage, the Comedy Store, the HA HA Club, The Ice House, The Improv, and the Laugh Factory. And, more!

The Los Angeles COMEDY WALK is the world's largest comedy walk event, with six simultaneous 90-minute shows on six stages, a total of nine hours of comedy presented in one evening. Each COMEDY WALK stage presents a different stand-up comedian or comedy act every ten minutes. Walk between venues to pick and choose your favorite acts or stay put at one venue for an entire 90-minute show.

COMEDY WALK is held in cooperation with the Los Angeles Downtown Art Walk (www.downtownartwalk.com), a monthly event that draws a crowd of 3,000 people to 30 participating neighborhood art galleries. Art Walk is held from noon to 9pm. COMEDY WALK is held from 8:30pm to 10pm. COMEDY WALK and Art Walk are held on the second Thursday of each month.

Mark your calendar for the 18-day summer LOS ANGELES COMEDY FESTIVAL starting May 1st at the McCadden Theatre in Hollywood. The 18-day winter LOS ANGELES COMEDY FESTIVAL will be held in November 2008 at multiple downtown venues.

Helping people laugh and have fun, what could be better? COMEDY WALK makes is part of a drive to revitalize downtown Los Angeles to make it a vibrant theater district. Thousands of new seats are being added to downtown by the construction of new theaters such as the Nokia and by the restoration of historical landmarks such as The Palace. Comedians find COMEDY WALK a great place to show off material and have fun.
